Select the number of generations you will want displayed in the pedigree. For most
computer printers printing in Landscape mode, 5 generations is the best choice.

Enter the name, or partial name, to search for. For example, entering
"blue" will find all entries whose names contain "blue". Use
* as a wild card to match any characters. The default search is anywhere in the string,
but you can narrow your search by selecting beginning or end or exact match.

The default display order is alphabetically by name, but you can
change to order by birthdate.
